For video uploads and Simulated-Live Mode in EventBuilder, files must be under 500 MB.
File Upload Requirements
- All video files must be in MP4 format - currently other formats such as .MOV and .AVI are not supported and will not stream during events.
- Avoid special characters in the filename (e.g., & % $).
- A high-speed internet connection.
- A hard-wired computer (mobile uploads are not recommended.)
File Compression Options
If your file is over the 500 MB limit, file compression is required to successfully upload your video to EventBuilder. You can:
- Work with your in-house video editor to compress/convert your file.
- Do-it-yourself with your preferred compression software.
Free programs for video conversion and compression are available.
